Frosty Trees

Hello everyone I hope you are doing well.    It's very dark with heavy rain and winds today so it's nice to stay inside and play in my craftroom :)

I have another Christmas design to show today using beautiful stamps from Chocolate Baroque.  The matting and stamping is navy not black as the photo shows.

I sprayed Goosebumps over the background and let it dry.  Next I added Picked Raspberry and Coral Distress inks using an acrylic sheet and water. I stamped over the background with snowflakes from A Child is Born (I love these negative snowflakes and use them frequently).

I stamped the trees from Frosty Trees with cobalt Archival ink on a separate sheet.  I use mixed media paper when using water, ink and paint.    I added colour with the Distress inks again using water on my craft mat.   When dry I covered the trees with Glossy Accents and added white highlights.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

I really like your pink and navy blue colour scheme, a nice original Christmas choice and it works really well with that CB stamp. Sorry to hear your weather is windy and rainy, we are having some reasonable autumn weather hear with some lovely colours, but it sounds like we should expect a cold snowy winter here this year, so I am making the most of this nice weather!

We've had the same weather today, what we call in Scotland a "dreich day"!
Beautiful colours. I am very partial to pinks for festive creations. The texture is gorgeous as is the touch of Glossy Accents on the trees.
Very elegant creation.

Hallo Shirley!
A very nice and modern kind of christmas card. I like the pink color and the background textures. Well done! Your relaxed Crafting Assistant (cat) looks so sweet. Cats are good for the soul isn't it?
Dear Greetings

I love the CB trees Shirley and I adore the coral and pinks together and the highlighting with the white pen and the glossy accents on the trees really makes them stand out. I think the snowflakes in the background are very pretty too. x

Hi, Shirley! We're still in the mid 80s here with a little welcome rain. No turning leaves and the AC is still whirling. So glad you enjoyed the day in your craft room because this creation is gorgeous! Beautiful colors, terrific use of images, and awesome glitz and shiny-ness and texture! Hopefully the sun will soon be out to grace your eyes! XXOO

Such a pretty card. The glossy accents is a real nice touch. Stay dry, and have a good week.

I think I've used my Goosebumps only once, but you've inspired me to get them out! This is one of my favorites, Shirley--love the color combo! Hope the storm didn't cause you any problems.

You amaze me with your versatility and how much you create!
This care is oh so lovely.
We had a lot of rain all day on Wednesday too.
Today it was almost balmy outside before our temperatures take a dip.
