Dreaming about Spring

Hello dear bloggers, I hope you are all doing well.    I'm still not in blogland much but again thought I would show a few things that I've worked on recently.

This first abstract mixed media painting is from a LB2018 Lesson (with Laura Horn), I followed her techniques, but my painting is not like hers, I went my own way.

Next is another whimsical (or stylized) girl using inks (her face has some acrylic):

And finally a couple of cards that I created using Distress Inks, stencils and stamps in the background along with paper flowers that I molded with a stylus.  I used rolled roses in the center of the larger flowers.  So much fun :)

Well again that's enough for one post !

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Cheers
Shirley

Four fabulous creations Shirley, and the two cards have a really pretty, icy feel with the blue and purple, and love the two different die cuts which are tucked behind the flowers and foliage. The beautiful painted tulips have some pretty white patterns and spatters, and yet another gorgeous lady adore those delightful pink flowers in her flowing hair and you are so clever at getting life into the eyes. Thank you for continuing to visit here even if only occasionally, it is alway so interesting to see what you have been doing as your work is always a treat to see. x

So fun to see your work again & have you stop by my blog, Shirley! I hope things are going better with the relative's health & that you're settled & loving your home! The paintings are so amazing--what a talent you are! The rolled roses for the flower centers totally appeals to me & I plan to make some now thanks to your inspiration!

Great to see these totally different projects from your hand! It is good to be able to do so different projects and get all your ideas and talent out and on paper or else!
Love the loose-feeling of the flowers and the intense look of your whinsical girl! And beautiful backgrounds with so much dept for your beautiful flowers! Here the cold is gone (and the snow too) and today we had a lot of rain... Temp wemt up from -7 to +7 degrees...and in the weekend they say it is going to be 14degrees; how crazy is that?

The flower painting looks so soft and nice, very good. Your spring Lady is really a Beauty and also well done. The card is very well designed and really an eyecatcher with the nice die cut flowers.
Dear Greetings and happy weekend.
