Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend. I would like to welcome the new followers and again thank everyone for your visits and kind comments, they are very much appreciated!
Chocolate Baroque has recently launched their new beautiful Winter Fairy Collection. I have a couple of designs today featuring stamps from these sets. I used images from December Fairy for the card below.
The
background was created with Calypso Teal, After Midnight and White
Linen Dylusions spray inks and
I sprinkled a little salt while wet. I stencilled a little over the
background using Circle Explosion by TCW. I stamped the angel with
Seedless
Preserves Distress Ink, embossed with clear, cut it out, matted and coloured a little
with Dylusions inks. I added snowflake die cuts from Impression Obsession which were generously given to me by a kind friend.
Next is a beautiful Fairy from February Fairy.
I created the background with Festive Berries Distress Ink using an Acrylic Block. I stamped the trees from Reindeer Landscape with Festive Berries DI. I embossed the holly edge from Christmas Edges and Believe from Reindeer Landscape with gold. The Fairy is also embossed with gold, coloured with Tombow markers, cut out and attached. I added Diamond Stickles to her wings and dress.
Here is a look at the Winter Fairy Collection which is available in three individual sets or as a multi buy special.
If you have a chance, please visit Chocolate Baroque's Design Team blog to see what my talented teammates are creating.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!

Both cards are beautiful, and love the fairy stamps. Your colour combos are wonderful! Valerie
These cards are so beautiful, the stamps are lovely and you have coloured them perfectly! xxx
The cards are wonderfull and the stamps are beautiful. Janny X
Both cards are amazing! I like the colors!
The first just had me sitting looking & marvelling at your placement of those snowflakes - superb with the way the top right peeks from behind the angel panel's corner. The red centres echo your angel panel beautifully too. Your matting of the angel in revers to that of the main card base looks super too for the white on the angel panel acts as a bridge between the red & blue. On the second it's your idea with the hint of the trees in the background that caught my eye.

Gorgeously dreamy feel to both cards and on the first card you certainly captured the essence of a winter's day.

Wonderful fairies, Shirley! I especially love the December fairy -- love the bright blues and reds together with the white snowfakes. They both have such a rich, elegant look!!!

How clever you are with these stamps. I like how you show us the bare stamps, then we see what marvels you have done with them. I wonder if you cut out the second fairy with just scissors - it is brilliantly done. I like both but the second one is my favourite with the deep rose background and the Good Fairy.
Zwei bezaubernd schöne Karten, Shirley, ich bewundere die tolle Gestaltung.
Liebe Grüße, Bärbel
Absolutely stunning! You're making me want to keep practicing the acrylic block technique!
More awesomeness! You are making me want to try that acrylic block technique again. My efforts to date have not been very successful. (I need lessons! Too bad you are so far away, I can't join in your classes!!!). Love the new CB stamps too, and they are so pretty against your lovely backgrounds. Especially love your Dylusions angel against all that blue. TFS & Hugs
What a magnificent angel! And the snowflakes are so dainty and pretty on the gorgeous background. I love the glitter on the fairy wings. She really sparkles!
These companies must love you to pieces, Shirley! You do such an exquisite job of showcasing these stamps! Your fairies live in a magical wonderland!! Hugs, Darnell
How pretty your cards are, Miss Shirley, and the new fairy sets are GORGEOUS! Wow! I especially like the gold embossing to bring the wings to a magical life with the flowing hair and pretty gold embossed leaves! This must be you, wistfully waiting for Spring again, so you can enjoy walking thru your amazing garden. hugs, de
Of course you know I love your layering and the vibrant colors are fantastic. Your use of colors together is really wonderful. I can't do that!!! Love both!
