The background is Dylusions inks with a little Brushos sprinkled over top and then spritzed with water. I stamped in the background with the little decorative stamp at the top and tulips (hard to see) on the bottom half which created some depth. I coloured the sweet bird image with pencils which I love to use for small detailed images. I added a little glitter to the flower centres.

I saw this over at CBDT blog and it is gorgeous. I adore these new stamps and couldn't resist buying them as I love these pretty birds and the Spring flowers too. The background on your card is beautiful Shirley and the yellow at the bottom reminds me of a carpet of daffodils. x

BEAUTIFUL !! I love birds and this scene is particularly lovely. I had to swim through the snow to get to my bird feeders today, but the hungry little guys seem to appreciate my efforts. NO sign of Spring here!
