Flower Power

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have a couple of designs to show today using the fabulous Sketchy Doodle Landscape set by Chocolate Baroque.

The background was created with Dylusions and Brusho inks.  I over stamped with fragments from Abstract Fragments.and Harlequin Fragments.   I also added circles with white Acrylic paint and a small empty bottle.

The flowers were stamped with archival ink, sprayed with Fuchsia Dylusions ink, highlighted with a white Prisma pencil, carefully cut out and attached to the background.   The die cuts are Crealie CL CS 02.

The card below was very quick to make:

The background was stenciled (TCW Echoes) and the main image was coloured with Prisma pencils.  Best Wishes is from Mackintosh Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirleyx

Two pretty cards and lovely colours as usual Shirley. I love the fragments which give such interest to the background and then topped by the large flowers on the first, and then the second with the pretty blue stencilled background and the smaller flowers which I think are very Mackintosh. x

What a great use of the white prisma pencil, Shirley! Love the effect, and it really pops your rich colors. I must say that I fell in love with your 2nd card - everything about it is amazing, from the soft, flowing background to the dear flowers. Beautiful cards! Hope your week-end is extra happy! hugs, de

Beautiful cards, Shirley! I really love the first one--my favorite colors! Hard to tell, but I was thinking of how you stamp images with similar colors when you make a lot of your backgrounds, so you might want to check this post when you have time http://ggnursecreations.blogspot.com/2015/02/have-gorgeous-day.html Hope you're staying warm!

Isn't it interesting how we like different things. I like both but easily prefer the second with the clear design in the different shades of green and the fabulously curved background.

You're an inspiration. I'm going to bring out my Dylusions this weekend. I absolutely love your colourful flowers with the white paint circles. Your second card is just as gorgeous.

I'm just loving the flowers on both these cards - they make me think of spring. And with the weather you're having in your area, that's no doubt the idea! Here's to warming up eastern Canada.
