It's still a busy season so maybe you can use a little break in a tranquil garden. I created this card using Chocolate Baroque's new gorgeous Tranquility set. It's one of two new A5 sets, Serenity is the other and they compliment each other very well.
Also thought I would let you know, Chocolate Baroque's January 2014 sale started on Dec 27th, there's at least 20% off most items and up to 50% on selected products. A great sale!
The background was created with Seedless Preserves and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks using an Acrylic block. I stamped over the background with five different images from Tranquility mainly with Cobalt Archival ink. The blossoms were stamped with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink. I coloured over it all with Prisma Pencils and added glitter to highlight which you can see in the photo at the bottom of this post.
Here is a look at both new A5 sets Serenity and Tanquility which are available individually or as a multi-set.

I really like the way you added glitter to the water & created a scene grounding the stonework to the left. It's very atmospheric & I like the definition you were able to create by using the Prisma pencils over the inked background.

you posted this at the perfect time for me Shirley. I have a houseful of dogs I'm minding and a bit of tranquitity is much appreciated! This card projects tranquility with those lovely colours, images, and of course, the trademark Shirley b'ground. I think I'll have a cup of tea and leave this up for a while, until new game of Tag starts in my livingroom. :D
