Pink & Blue Peacock

Hello everyone !

I have another Peacock design today from Chocolate Baroque's new gorgeous Peacock Parade set.

I started the background by using Distress Inks with the Acrylic Block technique and then added Dylusions Inks.   I over stamped with a fragment from Textured Fragments and the fan from Peacock Fan.   The Peacock and Fan were embossed with silver, coloured with my Tombow markers and decoupaged over the background.  I added a little silver embossing around the edges using embossing ink & powder.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

This is gorgeous Shirley, and I love the colours you've used. The lighter colours of the peacock and the fan really make them pop against the darker colours of the background.

Very striking indeed & I love the way you've used the overstamping of the background to echo both the fanning elements of the peacock's tail & the fan itself plus the eyes in the tail feathers.
Hope you're having a good week.

That is so cool! When I first looked at it, I didn't see the stamped peacock, I actually thought that the head and body of the peacock was the void space. I don't know if I'm expressing this well, but think optical illusion! This is FREAKING GORGEOUS !!

It was past time to come and get my wild Shirley fix! I love your latest Glam Girl (and think the title is perfect) in all her glammy hairy bedazzlement, and I adore your Christmas flower that looks better even than Mother Nature, and your peacock is a strutting display of extraordinary color!! Thank you!!

I'm with Darnell. I needed my Shirley fix this evening. Wow, did I get it, in SPADES. This is the most luscious looking coloration on the card. That peacock is gor-JUS! You had to go some to top that Christmas flower...but I think ...let me look again...oh I don't know. Hard to say. Both are so dramatic and rich looking. TFS such a beautiful card. Love those texture stamps! Hugs

Wow, Shirley! How beautiful your peacock card is! He must be magical because a fan is imitating his beautiful plumage. I especially like how you repeated the fan image in your background to continue the mystical look which only peacocks can carry off. Beautiful colors, too! hugs, de

Such a pretty bird, and you know what? I see a lady in the peacock. Kind of like an ink blot test.
