Hello everyone, I hope all is well!
I have two more Peacock designs to show you today using the new fabulous stamps from Chocolate Baroque.
The
background for the above card was created with Smooch Inks. I stamped
the feather over the background with Moss Green Pigment ink by Colorbox. The
Peacock Feather 'plant' from Peacock Parade and the bubbles at the top from the clear set -Decorative Edges were embossed with gold. I added the gold border with a gold pen. The Peacock above from Tangled Peacock was also embossed with Gold on watercolour paper and coloured with Tombow markers.
The backgrounds on the card above are designer papers from my stash. I distressed the edges of the blue paper and added a little Tea Dye Distress Ink to both. The Peacock & decorative edge are both from Peacock Parade which I stamped with Coffee Archival Ink.
I
coloured over the Peacock with Prisma Pencils and added glitter and little rhinestones on his tail.
Spellbinder Dies: Labels Eight & Decorative Labels Eight. I used the 'out of box' technique for the end of the tail. Here is a link to a U Tube Video Tutorial.
A different angle:
Well that's all the Peacock designs I have for this month, they are gorgeous stamps and I look forward to 'playing' with them again.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

Both are beautiful cards Shirley, but I think it's the first one with that eye-catching gold embossing that really does it for me.

Love Chrissie x
Fabulous!! What more can I say :D
Hi Shirley, Lovely to see you, you are so right about the blog reader business, it's driving me crackers. I, like you, decided that because I read my blogs from my dashboard would be alright and need do nothing. I have read that may not be the case so I leapt before I was pushed, so to speak :D I will be eager to read what you find out and ultimately decide to do. For now Bloglovin seems ok, hugs to you, Gay x
The stamps are great! Can imagene that it was great fun to play with them! The first card is my favorite, but the are both so beautiful! Like the "out of the box"-effect on the second and the gold embossing on the first. Have a creative day, hugs, Gerrina
The peacock stamp is great Shirley and the way you coloured it ánd the cards makes it even look better!
kind regards, Alie :-)
The first is strikingly opulent with your golden 'bubbles' & the peacock feathers giving a semblance of palm fronds waving in the breeze. The green & gold ribbon is a sumptuous perch for the bird too. In the second sample it's your very striking use of the red which catches the attention & I love the layered effect of your sequin trim echoing the layering of the peacock's feathers.

Peacocks are perfect for your techniques and style! So gorgeous!
How eye-catching and absolutely stunning! Shirley, you certainly have acquired an "Eastern" flair to your cards, with a beauty that is all your own. These peacock cards are amazing with the lively colors and elegant gold EP. It is always amazing how just a touch of color, or a wee bit of difference in the layering make the subject matter come to life in a completely different dimension. Beautiful cards, my friend. hugs, de
I am so lovin' this peacock theme you've had going. These 2 are so striking & awesome...the gold on the 1st one really set off your blue-greeny background. I especially liked #2, with your combining the 2 s/b to frame your gorgeous peacock. Both cards - extremely impressive. Love 'em both. TFS
You know I'm always stunned and thrilled by the beauty of your peacock works of art, Shirley! You should figure out a way to have a peacock up there in your banner, next to your name!

Both cards are just gorgoeus, the first one with its great colour combination and the peacock looks so elegant! The second one is so special too with a whole different colour theme again! Just love it! Love the way the peacock is framed so nicely, along with the great colour choices! Well done again!

These cards are just stunning!
Two stunning cards Shirley, I especially love the first. Such lovely zingy colours. I love the way that the peacock seems to be sitting on the ribbon. I love the gems on the second card, it adds somethig special to the tail feathers.
