A Fairy and a Fantasy Meadow

Happy Weekend everyone!

I have another design to show today using Chocolate Baroque's new gorgeous Autumn Fairy Collection .      I combined one of the Fairies with a fabulous scene from CB's Fantasy Meadow and the beautiful flourish tree from Fantasy Woodland.

The background started by spraying Dylusions inks - Midnight, Teal & Linen.   I stamped the flourish tree from Fantasy Woodland around the edges and also the mushroom from November Fairy with black Stazon Ink.   I bleached the ink from the mushrooms and painted with purple Dylusions.

The scene from Fantasy Meadow was embossed with black and coloured with my Tombow markers.  There is a pretty border around this image but I cut it off for this design and adhered it over the background.   The beautiful Fairy from September Fairy is coloured with Prisma pencils and decoupaged in front of the 'scene'.   I added stickles to her wings.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirley

An absolutely super combination of CB stamps & I love the way your fairy has her wings extending over the edge of the whole design as well as having that decoupaged dimension.

You're doing marvelous work with these new fairy images. I think this is my fav so far (but I say that with each new card!). Loved how you put the pretty fairy outside the scene looking in...so very effective. Great choice in your spray colors...it gives an air of mystery to the scene. TFS & Happy Wkend.

Shirley, I want to come stay in your fantasy meadow! Looks beautiful the way you have a magical setting on the outside, and how the fairy is looking into another magical setting through the looking glass! Beautiful, and so symbolic! hugs, de

Just brilliant with the offset fairy and the double framing. I wonder if your cards are all one-offs or if you make duplicates?
