Accepting 'Wonky'

Hello creative people, I hope you are doing well.

Thank you to everyone that shared your experiences with blog spam, it's not pleasant.

I had fun working in my journal today while it was raining.  I realize this lady is wonky here & there, I find it more difficult to draw 3/4 faces.   I won't point out what I see is off and try to improve next time.

Again I used minimal supplies - pencil, Tom bow markers, white & black pens.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

This is so very beautiful Shirley and I think you have add a few imperfections to make it look life like. I really think the face had character and beauty and the flowers look amazing

Spammers are part of life and if we are bloggers we can help each other to live with them.
Annie sent me an email and I followed her instructions and now I have my fingers crossed and hope it works.

Love Chrissie xx

Isn't it funny how we see imperfections in our work but others do not and admire it. I think this is great, love the way you mix the colours with Tombows so that it is not all flat colours. The flowers and the face give a beautiful harmonious whole and the colours together are really lovely. As to so-called imperfections - this is art, not a photograph and "imperfections" only make the result more artistic. At least that is what I tell myself when I have smudged something.

I think my own face is a little wonky when I look in the mirror, so she is definitely familiar! ;0 Love the beautiful flowers in her hair and soft coloring. Hugs, Autumn

Just stopping in to say you made me smile, Shirley! I do feel young in my head, although the body sometimes lets me know it's not true--haha! I was a rather old bride--28. My younger siblings & most of my college friends were married several years before me. Congrats on your 30th--a milestone, for sure!
