CAS Sympathy Cards

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

We are still enjoying mild weather and sunny days, it's fantastic for this time of year.   I worked in the gardens yesterday morning, it felt wonderful.

I created a few CAS style sympathy cards that unfortunately we needed recently.

I used solid shape stamps by Impression Obsession.  I inked them up, spritzed water or used a stencil to create a pattern and then over stamped with flowers by Chocolate Baroque.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
Shirley

Beautiful cards Shirley which unfortunately are needed occasionally, and yours are elegant and with that touch of colour and the silhouette flowers perfectly fit the occasion. x

Lovely delicate patterning and the minimalist colour combination is just right for these cards.

Beautiful cards Shirley and they are perfect for those occasions when we need cards like these. Just about over the jet lag now, we had a great time in Whistler and then in Vancouver. It was very cold in Whistler (we're not used to it being that cold) but it had warmed up in Vancouver by the time we went there.

How clever to stamp a solid stamp and add those gorgeous CB stamps. I'm sorry you need sympathy cards. I just made a bunch because it seems like I'm needing them too. Have a great week.

These are really beautiful, Shirley--love the design!

All three look so serene and beautiful! The technique gives the same effect as if you had used a gelliplate and ink plus a stencil. Hope that you can enjoy more sunny days, seems we are in a gray-weather periode at the moment... Hugs, Gerrina

Your cards are really beautiful and calming.
Sorry you needed them dear Shirley.
We had one of the warmest February's ever.
The extra quilt keeps going on and off the bed.
It is nice to see some color return to the garden.

I'm sorry you've had a need for sympathy cards, Shirley. That's one of the not-so-fun parts of getting older. Your beautiful CAS cards will bring their loved one lots of comfort. Enjoy the balmy weather, assuming it hasn't changed, which it prolly has!! Hugs, Darnell
