Hello everyone, I have more Christmas cards to show. These are my pink and blue batch :)
I started by creating one large background using Distress Inks on my craft mat spritzed with water and glimmermist. I cut the large sheet into four pieces and added the poinsettias using a Tim Holtz stencil. The stamps are all by Chocolate Baroque.
And here are the other three that are very similar. While I don't mind spending time on one card, these are quicker to create. They are also flat to make it easier (and less expensive) for mailing.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

These are great colours. Your background is nice, and yes making mailable cards are more practical. With your dimensional look who needs embellishments. I hope you had a nice weekend. We went to Kitchener's Jazz Fest and saw Cowboy Junkies and went to Hamilton area to see three falls on the Bruce Trail. Have a great week. Hugs.
These are all so pretty Shirley and a great idea to make a large sheet and cut it to make several cards speeding up the process of Christmas card making. I love the bird on the holly branch silhouette and the beautiful stencilling and touch of shimmer in the background and using some of my favourite colours too. Hope you are having an enjoyable Summer. x
Oooooh, these are gorgeous, love the colours! Hugs, Valerie
I wouldn't have thought to use pink & blue for Christmas, but I'm really loving it, Shirley! The stenciled poinsettias are a fabulous element!
Hi Shirely,

How exquisite! Shirley, I am so enjoying the magic you are creating in these winter wonderland cards. Your art captures the quiet beauty, fresh air, unique wonder - all the magical qualities we hold in our hearts as representative of the celebrations in a North American/European style Christmas. The backgrounds bring your stamped images to a story all its own! Thank you so much for blessing me with your masterful use of color and images! hugs, de
