More Spring Tulips

Hello creative people, I hope you are doing well today.  It's cold here in Ontario this week but early April can be fickle.  I'm still thinking about Tulips and used stamps by Chocolate Baroque to create this card.

The main image is A Year of Stamping, Issue 2 - February (standard) which I embossed with brown and coloured with Tom Bow markers.  The background piece is Walnut Distress Ink and water (on my craft mat) and stamped with a fragment from Texture Fragments.

I highlighted the tulips with Stickles which you can see better in the close up below:

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Shirley

Love the brown textured framing treatment with this splendid tulip image. The spring colors really sparkle with the darker background, just like the real flowers do, in the earth! Always a masterpiece to enjoy when I visit here, and hope you get some true Spring weather soon. TFS & happy wkend.

I like that you put the pink and turquoise flower into this brown frame, a very good contrast. Also I like the little bit of glitters on it. A very nice card. Hope you feel well.
Happy springtime Shirley.

Love the brown frame for these beautifully coloured tulips! In our garden the tulips are allmost open... The Art Specially Event was so great! I have been there all weekend and it was really a party! (not for my little moneybag though :) ) Did some great workshops/make and takes, but seeing everybody again was the best part...
Hope it will get warmer at your part of the world soon! Hugs, Gerrina
