Cogs and Steampunk Seahorses

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

Well I have a break today from Christmas designs as Chocolate Baroque has launched amazing & quirky Steampunk stamp sets, Steampunk Seaworld and Steampunk Funky Fish.

The card below features Seahorses from the Steampunk Funky Fish set.

The background is Dylusions inks and when dry I embossed with a folder by Crafts-too.   I rubbed a little metallic paste here & there to highlight the cogs. I added die cuts by Memory Box and Spellbinder which I painted with 3D stamp paint. The Seahorses were embossed with silver and coloured with Tombow markers.

Here is a look at both new sets which are on an introductory offer this month:

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the festive Season!

This is a beautiful card Shirley and love the cogs embossed background and the die cut ones too, and with those gorgeously heat embossed seahorses on top and the lovely metal paste adding shine is just so pretty. x

It doesn't do it when you post on your own blog Shirley, or so I discovered this morning. Several have posted about it saying it shows that it's switched off in your setting but it on. And they say the answer seems to be to change settings to 'embedded' for comments.

Wieder eine wunderschöne Karte...
und ich glaube fast, mit deinen Lieblingsfarben.
Schön, wie du die Seepferdchen eingebettet hast.
Die Deko ist fantastisch.

Your seahorse looks so modern with his steampunk accessories. I think you have fussy-cut him and his little friend? it's superb cutting. I'm also loving the colours you've used here and the way you've used them.
