Harlequin Poppy

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the weekend, it's been beautiful here.

I have a card to show today using a fragment from Chocolate Baroque's new Harlequin Fragments set in the background and a pretty poppy & butterfly from Harebell Butterfly.

The large background was created with Mowed Lawn Distress ink.  I also stamped the harlequin fragment with the same ink.   The smaller background was created by blending distress inks. It's hard to see in the photo but I lightly stamped the harlequin fragment again.   I coloured the main image with Prisma pencils.

There is something new coming soon from Chocolate Baroque this week which will be announced at the Design Team Blog :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
Shirley

This is beautiful Shirley, and I love that harlequin fragment in the background, and actually you can see it on the topper too. The harebells are so pretty and I like the halo/sun you have put behind them, and gorgeous lace embellishment too. Hope you are having a good weekend. x

Hey Shirley, hope you had a great weekend :) Great composition! I really like how you brought all of the colours together so well. A hint of green in the main frame to relate it to the background. The white lace to tie in with the white framing. Beautifully cohesive feel to this!

Hello Shirley, you always manage to make such original designs with these bare stamps. Your painting and colouring and design ability is fabulous. Hope your two feline assistants are doing well.

Love these oh-so-cool greens. Enlarging the photo showed just a very subtle suggestion of the harlequin in the focal image. Loved your background, and that is some super pencil coloring of the main image. Wonderful highlight & shading. TFS & Hugs. Also many thanks for the sweet anniversary wishes too
