Tangled Butterfly

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.   I appreciate all your support regarding my last post advising of my 'blog break'.

This is a scheduled post, I have one more design to show using Chocolate Baroque's new Harlequin Fragment stamp set.

The background is Dyslusion inks and I stamped the tangled fragment over top.   The butterfly from Tangled Garden and greeting from Birthday Words were stamped with black Archival ink.

I bleached the colours a little over the butterfly and then re-painted using Dylusions inks (on my craft mat with water & brush).  When dry I highlighted with a white pen.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

This card is another stunner Shirley!
I have just gone and read your previous post which I missed as I was abroad with little internet time, wow, that is some major life change you are going through! I can just imagine how hard it must all have been!! But stay positive, it will be great to create a new garden and design a new craft room! We did something similar some 5 years ago, so I know a bit what it is like.... you will miss your old place for some time to come for sure, change is always hard, but you will get there in the end, and I wish you all the very best for your new place and no doubt you will make in into a place of beauty too!!

I love the hot colours Shirley, and that wonderful large butterfly makes a real statement especially with the white pen highlights, and a nice big sentiment to match. The fragment gives good texture to the background too. x
