Christmas in Pinks and Orange

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying Fall.  I'm so happy that it's here after a long hot, humid and dry summer.   Suddenly one day it's fall and ahhhhhh it feels so good.    I'm still quite busy and have not had much time in my craft room or for blogging.

I have more Christmas cards to show.  I worked on these one afternoon when it was over 100 outside and I could not be out.

I created one large 'non traditional' background and then cut it down to create easy, flat cards.   I used various stamps in the background and die cuts.  I've showed a couple of these cards in a previous post, but have grouped the flat designs below.    These cards are easier for mailing vs the dimensional designs with flowers.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week,
Shirley

Beautiful backgrounds Shirley and the cards. I love the mica shine and the bits of stencilling and stamping which make them so individual and all the wonderful sentiments and then the added die cuts as focal images. x

Shirley, your cards are beautiful. I really like your corner die. You're making headway on your Christmas cards. I haven't even started mine yet. Glad you found time to play in your studio. Hugs.

Great idea creating that beautiful background to cut up and turn into more wonderful cards. Your Christmas cards are a real stand out dear Shirley! Always original and so pretty!
Just like that our scorching heat and humidity stopped too :-) Welcome cooler crisp air. We're even due for some much needed rain the rest of this week.
Happy end of September days to you oxo

What a good idea to make a large background then cut it up. I like the pink and blue Christmas cards. Interesting to be making Christmas cards when it is 100 degrees. Happy Autumn!

Wow! You were certainly busy, so it was time well spent, even if you could not go out, Shirley! Difficult for me to realize that it could ever get that hot in Canada! LOL Beautifully done, my sweet friend! Hoping you are enjoying a lovely week-end. hugs, de
