Crealie Flowers, Damask background and Ryn's Waterdroplets

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I've had a lot going on and when my energy is gone so is my mojo for creating but I enjoyed some time in my craft room yesterday afternoon.

I used favourite colours, Crealie dies, stamps by Chocolate Baroque and the amazing water droplets by Designs by Ryn to create the card below.

I started with Distress Inks (Violet and Citron) on an Acrylic plate and spritzed with water to create the background.  I also sprinkled a little Brusho powders, spritzed more water and let it run over the inks.    I over stamped with using the same inks and a couple of stamps from Chocolate Baroque's Dusky Damask set.

I stamped Designs by Ryn's water droplets from the unmounted Textures Sheet with Cobalt Versafine ink.
I removed some of the ink from the water droplets by dabbing water over top with a brush and blotted with paper towel.  Next I added some colour back, dried with a heat gun and highlighted with a white pen.

It's so much fun to create the flowers using white cardstock.  I used the following Crealie Dies:  Uno No 17 Flower 11, Set of 3 No 17 Flower 11, Duo Set No 20 Swirls, and Double Fun No 12.  Using finger daubers and Distress Inks I coloured and then molded them using a stylus and foam mat.

The matting is navy blue and not black as appears in the photo.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great week,
Shirley

Dylusions Doodle Flower

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well this weekend.

I haven't had time or the desire (my mojo has taken a leave of absence) to be in my craft room this month but I have this simple card to show you today.

The background is Dylusions inks along with some stenciling using white paint and black ink.   The flower & stem are from Dylusions Doodle Blooms set.     Best Wishes is from Chocolate Baroque.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week,
Shirley

More Spring Tulips

Hello creative people, I hope you are doing well today.  It's cold here in Ontario this week but early April can be fickle.  I'm still thinking about Tulips and used stamps by Chocolate Baroque to create this card.

The main image is A Year of Stamping, Issue 2 - February (standard) which I embossed with brown and coloured with Tom Bow markers.  The background piece is Walnut Distress Ink and water (on my craft mat) and stamped with a fragment from Texture Fragments.

I highlighted the tulips with Stickles which you can see better in the close up below:

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Shirley

Spring Tulips

Hello everyone and welcome to April.   The calendar says "Spring" but it's rather chilly here and will be all weekend.

I created  this spring theme card using stamps by Chocolate Baroque.     By coincidence  Lesley and the team are celebrating their 5th birthday and all their Spring Stamps are on sale - 30% off, a great time to buy.

The background is Dylusions spray inks along with a little white acrylic paint using a small bottle.  I spritzed the background using the Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer.  I also stamped with foilage from Spring Foliage which is hard to see in the photo.

The main tulip image from Spring Bird Tulip set was coloured with Prisma pencils.

The die cut behind the tulips is by Joy Crafts 6002/0133.

Have a great weekend,
Shirley
