First, I have a design to show today using beautiful and fairly new stamps by Chocolate Baroque.
The background was created with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and water on an acrylic sheet. I stamped over with a flower from Fleurs Nouveau and also some stencilling with DI. 'Best Wishes' is from Mackintosh sentiments.
The Exquisite Edges were stamped with blue Versafine ink. I messed up at the top and had to stamp again. So it's not perfect but I like the 'distressed' result. I coloured the bottom edge a little with Prisma pencils and added liquid pearls at the top.
Blogger News: Here is some news which I copied from another Blog. I have no idea if this affects any of my followers.
Here's the announcement they made on Blogger Buzz:
In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.
As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.
We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.
We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.

I'm pretty sure this does not affect anyone that follows by email but it might affect who can comment. But I am not sure as I'm certainly not an expert on the changes.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

Gorgeous card and the colour palette is lovely Shirley, probably one of my favourites.
Like most of us I was all ready to see changes with Blogger yesterday but still waiting as seen nothing obvious thus far.

Fabulous Shirley. With Brenda about the colour palette it is one of my faves to.
Don't have any followers Shirley, got rid of that little baby years ago so it doesn't affect me.
Warm crafty hugs from Shirl x x x

This is gorgeous Shirley and the Fleurs Nouveau and the Exquisite Edges stamps from CB are so pretty and I love the soft stencilling in the background and the pinks, purples and blues are a beautiful combination too. x
This card is really splendid in every detail.
I noticed no imperfections at all Shirley.
It's a stunner.
My eyes glaze over every time I try and figure out what the blog changes mean exactly. I already feel in the minority having a WordPress blog. I guess I will stay tuned and see how this all shakes out. Shame on anyone for trying to diminish our fun. Nothing is sacred is it :-)
Stay warm oxo
Lovely artwork. The colours are perfect. I am a big fan of Chocolate Baroque stamps. It is getting colder now in the UK. I think I am OK to follow your blog as I seem to have a google count. The internet is mostly a mystery to me!!!

Bad news re blogger, I lost about 30 followers already two weeks ago and I think a few of us experienced the same thing....
Really gorgeous creation, Shirley! I love the colors & images--perfect!
Gosh, Shirley, I don't know how you do it! The way you combine stamps on those incredibly beautiful backgrounds is always amazing! Lovely combinations. It is truly a talent and I so appreciate your skills and artwork! This is gorgeous! Hugs de
I can't say it any better than your own title does, Shirley! You took the words right out of my mouth! So far, I've not noticed big changes in my followers after all the dire warnings. It sort of reminds me of the Y2K fears, but I don't want to speak too soon!! Hugs, Darnell
You always use such pretty colors Shirley!

Really lovely card, great colours. Hope you and Archie are having a great day.
Your background is so beautiful. I love how you used your stamps above and below. Very creative thinking.
Even your 'mess-ups' - which no one would notice had you not said - end up looking grand! Lovely colors, and great textural background. Perfect when used with the floral stamps - love this free flow design of the CB image. Beautiful, as your work always is! I just copied your info about Blogger Buzz, and reposted. TFS this, and your gorgeous card. Hugs
Fun colours! Love how you played with light and dark colours! Hugs, Gerrina
