Hibiscus with Waterdroplets

Hello everyone, I hope all is well.

I have a design today using Design by Ryn's new Hibiscus stamp set along with the small waterdroplets from her Textures unmounted sheet.   I'm going to echo what a teammate said recently at her blog, Ryn's water stamps are the best out there, the detail is amazing.

The background colour could be mistaken for the new Coral Distress Ink, but it's not as it's a bit softer.  I used Picked Raspberry and a little Persimmon with lots of water on an acrylic plate.   I stamped with two different flowers along with masking and coloured with Prisma pencils.   'Life is Beautiful' is a great little stamp that was exclusive for attendees at the Art Specially Event in the Netherlands a few years ago.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirleyx

I love the persimmon and the picked raspberry inked background with those pretty Hibiscus flowers, and the water droplets are wonderful. The prisma pencil highlights on the petals work beautifully. Another gorgeous card. Have a lovely weekend Shirley. x

Vibrant and gorgeous as usual Shirley. Ripe Persimmon is a beautiful colour and to team with Picked Raspberry is a match made in heaven.

What a lovely design, and you've used a very restricted colour palette, that's so clever, I must try that one day!

Thanks so much for what you wrote Shirley! It means a lot that you think so. Beautiful use of space in this one. Love how you overlapped one of the Hibiscus flowers, the use of Water Droplets in there and the bright colour you chose. Many thanks!

oh! how lush and tropical - it definitely felt like that yesterday when a typically summer thunderstorm greeted us - we never had spring! LOL Love the softness in your petals. hugs, de

Saw this beauty on Ryn's FB page, and it's totally awesome. Lots of truth about the Ryn Water droplets stamp too. Looks great used with this fab hibiscus, and your techniques make it look even more beautiful! TFS & Big hugs.
