A Taste of Spring in Pink and Orange

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have a few designs to show today featuring new gorgeous Spring Birds with Tulip, Daffodil and Crocus stamps from Chocolate Baroque.  The pretty images are just we need to cheer us up as we are getting tired of snow and extreme cold temperatures.   At least now that March is here we can expect a little milder weather but it's going to take a while for Spring to arrive.

The background above was created with Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks using an acrylic block spritzed with water, heat drying and then picking up the drops left on the block.

I stamped the decorative design, bird and flowers from Spring Bird - Daffodil  and the foliage from Spring Foliage sets.  'Best Wishes' is from the Spring Bird - Tulip set.    I enjoyed colouring these images with my Prisma Pencils.

And below are four ATC's that I created using stamps from Spring Birds with Tulip, Daffodil and Crocus sets.   I'll use them as gift tags, but they are cut in the ATC size.

The backgrounds above were created with orange and pink Dylusions spray inks.  I added white Acylic paint using Memory Box stencil.  The images were again coloured using my Prisma Pencils.

I have one more design to show today which was very quick to create.

I painted the tulip stamp from Spring Bird - Tulip with Tom Bow water colour markers and then stamped onto water colour paper.  Using a water barrel brush I blended the paint.  I added a little green Brushos crystals with water to the bottom to create grass.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirleyx

A stunning collection Shirley, but I have to say that the top one is my favourite. I'm loving these new stamps this month and mine have been cut out and used already. Hope you are well and having a great weekend, even if it is still cold there.

So bright and pretty Shirley and I adore the catkins on the first as when you see them you know Spring is definitely on the way. The bird on the branch is gorgeous too. The atc's work so well and what a lot of beautiful stencilling as well as the lovely colouring of the flowers. The last is lovely and loose and gorgeously watery. x

Spring! Bring it on....Not that I'm wishing time! :) Love your colors! The trading cards are beautiful! I was trying to make AT boxes today between car travels! I'm hoping to make one with stampscape; but after coming here, I might dig out my Chocolate Baroque stamps or go visit my Mom's! Thank you for inspiring us and making spring warmth shine in your beautiful creations!!!...

Each card is just so pretty. Thought perhaps #1 was brusho, until I read the post. You do that block technique so amazing. I just can't get it to look so rich...mine are splotchy! (But I'll keep trying!) Love the soft w/c on those wonderful tulips. Hope your trip is going well, & you're relaxing or having fun. Whichever it is that you need it to be. Glad you got to see the brusho results...and the thanks go to you, for your very super instructions! I'm having such fun with that product. Hugs & TFS

These are glorious, Shirley.
Love the four ATC's, small pieces can be delightful, and I like your idea of using them as gift tags.
I really like the warm coloured piece with the bird and the patterns at the bottom, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Raspberry - delicious.
What a way you have with your stamps.
