Thistle Butterfly

Hello everyone, I hope your day is going well.

This is another scheduled post for this month as we are busy with moving so I'm still on a 'blog break'.     I have two cards to show featuring stamps from Chocolate Baroque's beautiful new Thistle Butterfly A5 set:

I stamped the main image on melon designer paper and coloured with Prisma pencils.   I stamped a Texture Fragment on the second layer with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.   Spellbinder Die:  Decorative Labels Eight.

I also have a CAS style card below using an image from the same set.

I blended Rasberry & Persimmon Distress Inks in the oval space and stamped a Harlequin Fragment over top before stamping the main image with Purple Archival ink.   I stamped with a Harlequin Fragment using Lavendar DI on the white background.  I stamped off on a sheet of paper so that the image was faint.   I highlighted the flower with Gelly Roll pens and added glitter.  It's a bit difficult to see the detail in the photo.   'Just a note' is from the fabulous Mackintosh Sentiments set.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirley

It's always a treat to see your cards Shirley and both of these show your style perfectly.

I really hope the move is proving to be relatively stress free and all will be back to normal soon.

Two stunning cards Shirley. When your post popped up on my sidebar I wondered how you had time to post these as well as moving, but then I saw they were scheduled. Hope everything is going smoothly.

Gorgeous cards,Shirley! I've got to remember to try using the gellyroll pen for accents. It looks beautiful on your cards.I love that stamped image on the first card, CB really produces some beautiful stamps!
My heart broke for you having to leave your outstanding gardens. I know you must have put in many years of back-breaking work to get such glorious results, but a new place is a blank canvas for you to create upon.
( I tried to leave you a comment on the original post about you're move, but I'm still having problems!)

You must have worked so hard to produce all these glorious cards in advance. I like the way you have used coloured pencils here, I must get mine out again. Both lovely cards and again a skillful use of colour.
Hope all is going well.

How sweet these are! I know, Shirley, you are busy moving, but wanted to say that I like that you "departed" from your usual style to reveal something that still screams "Shirley's Color Is Here". Wonderful projects, and both so captivating! Try not to break anything in your move! hugs, de
