Patchwork Trees in Greens & Blues

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I back with another couple of designs using Chocolate Baroque's fabulous new whimsical Patchwork Landscape set.  I've been using this colour combo a lot recently, must be my desire for Spring and gardening :)

I used Cut Grass and Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions Inks for both backgrounds above and below.   All Stamping was done with Cobalt Archival ink.   I coloured the top one with Gelly Roll pens and used a fragment from Textured Fragments on the smaller background (above).    I used TCW Circle Explosion stencil on the larger background and doodled highlights to compliment the design in the trees.

I coloured the flowers with Prisma pencils and again used a white Gellyroll pen to highlight.   The clouds are from Fantasy Castles.   The sentiment, flowers and tree are all from Patchwork Landscape.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirley

With your long winter it's not surprising your yearning for Spring is translated into using these lovely greens. I love your classy layout in the first & how your cobalt stamping is echoed by the matting. Your use of Textured Fragments in the smaller background is accented perfectly by those pearls. In the second it's your buttons which echo the hollyhocks so perfectly that catch my attention & I do like the way you tree positively glows.

When I see your backgrounds with the Dylussions, than I realize I have a lot of practising to do before they are as beautiful as yours, Shirley.
The stamps of the Patchwork Landscape are not my cup of tea and that doesn't matter at all, because you created very beautiful cards with them.
Heve a nice weekend. Groetjes Gery

Love your card Shirley. It so reminds me of Spring which is so slow in coming this year. I can hardly wait to get outside and work but my hand needs to heal more. The surgery was successful though so I am happy. Have a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful cards, Shirley, I'm loving all the lime green.
I often wonder what happens to your cards, do they go to very grateful recipients, or do you frame them and hang them on the wall, they are such works of art.
Hope you are now managing to recover your garden from your long winter, here the plants in the past few days have been growing strongly.

Once again, loving both of these beautiful green & blue cards. Can never have enough of this color combo in my opinion. It just says "summer cool". Amazed when reading you did the circles with stencil & highlighting. Thought at first it was one of the R. bubble stamps. Like the way you add the borders behind the fantastic image of the trees. A great CB release, and you are showcasing it so wonderfully well. TFS & Hugs. Happy Sunday.
