Gelli Plate Print with Ornate Leaf and Flower

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.   Our weekend was cool, we still don't have Daffodils blooming, Spring where are you?

I have a design to show today using a Gelli Plate print that's been hanging out in my stash as the background.    It's great fun to create lots of prints for future use.

I embossed Design by Ryn's Ornate Leaf Set with black and coloured with Tombow markers.   The little die cut branch is by Memory box and the flowers by Heartfelt Creations.   Joy is from Chocolate Baroque's Artistic Expressions set.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirley

Lovely card Shirley. I love the flower. You're definitely in a green phase and feeling the effects of Spring. I have a friend who has gone to live in Canada and her photo's are quite amazing. One day she posts pictures with foot deep snow, next day, no snow and sun shining. Hope you're well. Jools. xx

I am fascinated with this gelli plate background and the effect you created. It is just wonderful. Love the MB die & the Ryn leaves. They looked so gorgeous against the green gelli creation. Thanks to you, my gelli is at least on my table, but {sigh} still brand new! One of these days. You need to take a trip to SC, get in some sunshine - well wait til this last storm moves on out! - and let's have some play days! TFS & Hugs

This is a lovely Gelli Plate background Shirley and I love Ryn's leaf stamp embossed and then coloured, and the flower coloured in the same tones. The MB die cut branch looks pretty tucked behind too. A really gorgeous card. I'm sorry your weather hasn't picked up yet. You will probably find that shortly Summer will start without Spring even getting a look in. x
