Gelli Print and Flowers

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.   Welcome the new followers, thank you for your interest in my blog :)

I have a card today that I used a Gelli Plate print for the background.   The circle pattern was created with a basket from a jewellry cleaner jar.  I have a bunch of prints waiting for me to do something with them.     I also used some dies that don't seem to get much play and a few favorite stamps.

Stamps:   Designs by Ryn - Spiral Branch (coloured with Gelly Roll pens), Chocolate Baroque - 'Love' is from Artistic Expressions & Texture Fragments.

Dies:  Heartfelt Creations - Tattered Blossoms (stamped with a texture fragment and coloured with Distress Inks), Memory Box - Fresh Foliage

Thanks for your visit and enjoy your week,
Shirley

Such a gorgeous card Shirley, I love your gelli print and the flowers added make it so wonderful. I also like the daffodils on your header, I hope that spring is on it's way to you. We have Crocus and Daffidils out along the road sides at the moment and they are getting ready to open in the garden.

That aqua jewelled brad really brings out the colour of those spiral branch leaves & I love the way you echoed the latter with your use of the die-cut leaves. The stamped detail on the flower blossoms is a lovely touch.

What a lovely card Shirley, The pink and green go together beautifully and the Spiral Branch stamp looks lovely on that quite random background. The Memory Box foliage is definitely on my wish list, and the over stamping on the flowers works so well. x

The flowers with the jewelled centres are lovely, especially with the 3D effect, but what catches my eye here are the multi-coloured leaves.
