Best Wishes

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have another design today that features a stamp from Chocolate Baroque's beautiful Mackintosh Windows A5 set.

The background is Evergreen Bough Distress Ink using an Acrylic Block.  I over stamped using a fragment from Texture Fragments with the same ink.   The Mackintosh window was embossed with black and coloured with Picked Raspberry & Evergreen Distress Inks (using a craft mat, water & brush).

I cut thin strips of black card stock and placed them randomly behind the main image.  My original plan was to place them straight, but I bumped the card which caused them to move and I liked how they placed themselves :)   I popped up the window over top.

'Best Wishes' is from Loving Sentiments.  Chocolate Baroque also offers their popular Mackintosh Sentiments clear set which compliments the new Mackintosh designs very well.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

This is lovely Shirley, pink and green are such lovely complementary colours, and I love the texture fragment which you have used on the background. The stripes give that Mackintosh feel but with a twist. x

That texture fragment really highlights the dotty centres of the flowers ever so well & the colours are very striking with the black mat & strips.

Your colors are always amazing and the texture fragments is beautiful. Thought it was water droplets at first glance, so very pretty. Your black strips look great the way you've placed them, so a very happy accident of design. Made me think stained glass window, especially with this lovely CB stamp. So gorgeous, TFS & Hugs

Your backgrounds are just the best, Shirley! Love the overstamping in the same color here. Beautifully watercolored images & the strips look fabulous! I recently bumped my card & how the panels landed were what I needed & hadn't been able to figure out.

I thinks it's so cool that you caught how the card wanted to be designed, Shirley! To me the angled lines, making this look like stained glass, are awesome features on this card! Of course I love that focal image and your brilliant coloring!! Hugs, Darnell

Beautiful raspberry and emerald tones! The main image, which reminds me of Mary Engelbreit flowers on stained glass (!), is so pretty.

That's a nice touch of serendipity with the black stripes, it works well. I like how you've coloured the window and its black frame and I also like the black then deep pink outer border.
