More Beautiful Florals

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well and enjoying this busy time of year.

I have two more floral designs using the new beautiful Floral clear stamps by Chocolate Baroque.

For the card above, I stamped the Big Bold Background - Wildflower on an orange/yellow sheet of designer paper with brown dye ink.  I also stamped the Peony with the brown ink and coloured both the background and main image with my Prisma pencils.  Joy is from Artistic Expressions.

And below is another design using the gorgeous Magnolia in a different colour combo.

The background was created with Seedless Preserves Distress Inks using the Acrylic Block technique.    All stamping was done with black Versafine Ink.   I coloured the Magnolia with Prisma pencils.  The corner flourishes are from the beautiful Fancy Flourishes clear set which I highlighted with a Gelly Roll pen and turquoise Pencil.

Thanks for your visit and enjoy the Season !

Your creativity for these cards is amazing Shirley. Both are divine but the pink magnolia just edges in front for me.

Mmmm wonder why, could it be the pink!!!

Goodness Shirley - I kept having to look at the Big Bold Background of the first for my initial impression was that you'd actually used the peony stamp in combination with it for it's such a good match! I love the way those green gems echo not only the 3 green buds but also the little sparkly stamens within the flower heads. I feel as if I've walked into a late Georgian or early Victorian house (the colours are so right) & I'm looking at a framed picture on a wall.
Your second one with the Magnolia is a delightful composition with the way you have added the green & white to the corner flourishes, not to mention the touch of sparkle on the stamped flower.

Both of these cards are beautiful, and such lovely colouring. The Wildflower bold background goes so well with the paper you have used with the Peony stamp, and that lovely dark mat and the gems finish it off a treat! The lovely pink background and piece of lace shows the Magnolia off so well and the nice dark colour mat and the delightful flourishes give good contrast.

Dear Shirley,
I've looked on Tsukineiko website, the new Kaleidacolor inkpads called no longer "Victorian" but "Royal Satin"
you know. I've changed it in the post, thank you so much.

I thought at first your big, bold background was a designer paper, then followed your link. Yes, you are definitely a master stamper and painter, it's brilliant.
I like the lace on the second card.

Beautiful, beautiful, Shirley! And when I first came upon your blog header today, and saw all that snow covering your amazing yard, I gasped out loud. It's pure winter eye candy. :)

Merry Christmas, my friend, and hope your new year is filled with many wonderful things!
