Masculine Birthday Greetings

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have a card design today that I think works well for a man using stamps by Chocolate Baroque including their new fabulous Nature Fragments set.

The background was created with Melted Chocolate (how appropriate) Dylusions Ink.   I stamped using two tree trunk wood grain fragments from Nature Fragments with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.     I embossed two trees from Fantasy Woodland and sentiment from Birthday Words with brown powder.   I blended Broken China Distress Ink over the trees and label.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day,
Shirley

Wow, a stunning male card Shirley. I love the melted chocolate background, it really looks like it too. The fragment stamps make a perfect partner for the both the background and the tree stamps, and the addition of raffia instead of a ribbon looks great.

Another great card Shirley. Love that rich brown, definitely a good choice for a male card, and the wood grain fragment makes the perfect background. x

This looks absolutely splendid Shirley & I love the way the watermarks & blotches in the background colour echo the roundness of the tree rings & really add to the whole woody sense especially with your raffia. I absolutely love how your red-orange brown complements the blue-green of the your matting, trees & sentiment. Your leaf charm echoes the shapes & balances your trio of trees. A lovely unusual delight that looks good enough to eat but won't add inches to the waistline……………..

It looks warm and cold, beautiful background; they look so like all what is left of the big tree here in the neightbourhoud that had to be cut down.... Have a fun weekend, Gerrina

Each post I think you can't top this one. Then doggone if you don't do it with the next post. I love this Melted Chocolate, have only used it diluted. It looks very coppery as the background for the wood rings, and your lovely trees & sentiment seem like a copper patina with this bckgrnd. So very beautiful. TFS & Hugs

These colours together are gorgeous. This is a great card for a man, something different.
I don't know if you are interested, but the challenge theme at "Soartful" is "Trees".

Love the feeling of looking into a tree - into the Time and Strength of its rings, and life-line. Having the trees shown with the leafy charm really bring the beauty and timelessness of nature to our minds, doesn't it? This is amazing hugs, de
