A Sweet Robin for Christmas

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have a couple of designs today using stamps from Chocolate Baroque - their new fabulous Nature Fragments and another favourite, Christmas Song.

The background was created with Peacock Feathers & Picked Raspberry Distress Inks using the Acrylic Block technique.   I over stamped with the Ice Fragment from Nature Fragments with the same Inks.     The Robin from Christmas Song was stamped with Cocoa Memento Ink and coloured with Inktense Pencils.   I added glitter and rhinestones and died sheer ribbon with Raspberry Ink to match.

And here is another one with the same little Robin:

I used Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and Acrylic block for the background.  I over stamped with the Ice Fragment with both Shaded Lilac and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.   The poem (also from Christmas Song) and Robin were again stamped with Cocoa Memento Ink.   I coloured the Robin with Prisma Pencils.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Shirley

Two beautiful cards, love the background. Hope there are no more furry intruders and keep those paws nice and warm. :)

Super effect with the acrylic block backgrounds overstamped with the nature fragments. It's delightful seeing how you added so much variation to the two cards by using colours for the ribbon & rhinestones. The use of Cocoa ink for stamping is very striking as it doesn't overpower the background as black would have done but superbly compliments the teal aspects of the design.

These two birdie cards are just exquisite, Shirley. I enlarged them and saw so much detail. The first one with the frame and the fabulous background is outstanding, and the second one is special too.

A lovely bird stamp. {sigh} I want them all! This one is so delicate & pretty perched in his tree, and love the color choices you made for Mr. Robin. Each of the cards' background was so interesting. That ice is a great texture stamp and worked wonderfully in the blues for each project. Both cards are gorgeous. TFS & Hugs
