Gelli Plate Fun

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.  It's HOT here.

I have a quick post this evening.   I had the pleasure of taking a great Introductory class on Mono Printing using a Gelli Plate.  We worked on a large sheet of paper which was cut & folded into a small Art Journal.  I still want to do some stamping on these backgrounds, but thought I would share a few of the pages.      Keep in mind that this is my first 'play' with a Gelli Plate and will learn more as I go.  I can see that it can be addictive.

Of course I came home with a Gelli Plate along with more stencils and can't wait to have more fun with them.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day,
Shirley

Looks like you had loads of fun Shirley, and made some amazing pages for the mini journal. I really must get mine (Gelli Plate) out of the packaging and do something with it.

Hope you're enjoying your warm weather.

Wow! Great Class, Shirley! It will be fun seeing what you create in the future with the Gelli Plate. I've never heard of that tool before. Beautiful colors, and I especially LOVE the white peeking out so that the beautiful colors are featured pleasingly! hugs, de

These are stunning! Now you got me hooked on Ryn, Dylusions, & I bought a Gelli plate (small then went back & got the larger one) while in the lovely Massachusetts stamp store. I have been wanting to have a play with the Gelli, but still trying to play catchup with cards, and blog visits. This makes me want to go get it out, grab some inks. Can't wait to see further art from you. Thanks for your sweet comments on the Dylusions card. I'm having fun with them, just a bit slow in learning different techniques. Lucky you to have the gelli class! I had a nifty demo, but was just a little faster than I'd have liked. (not the store's fault, but we needed to get back on the road). TFS & Hugs

Schön erfrischend und kühlend.

These backgrounds are fabulous Shirley. I've had a plate for about 2 months now and haven't even got it out of it's packaging yet. Need more hours in a day ............ and definitely a cooler craftroom at the moment, lol!
