Steampunk Flowers

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have a Steampunk Floral arrangement today that features stamps from Chocolate Baroque's new gorgeous set - Punky Flowers.   This set is fun & provides unlimited design possibilities.

I created the background with Blue & Turquoise Dylusions Inks and blended Dusty Concord  Distress Ink over the Mini Gears TCW stencil.   I stamped the wire branch with Vintage Sepia Versafine Ink & a larger flower with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink over the background.   "Bliss" is from the Artistic Affirmations set.

I embossed the flowers with Bronze (twice to decoupage) & coloured with Tom Bow markers.  The finishing touches are rhinestones and mini gears from Tim Holtz.

Here is a look at the Punky Flower set.  I had the biggest smile when I first had a look at these designs -  how cool are the "Cog Trees" & "Lamp Flowers"?    This set is on special during the launch month of May.

If you have a chance please visit Chocolate Baroque's Design Team blog to see beautiful creations by my talented teammates.

Thanks for your visit & have a great day,
Shirley

I love these flowers, they are gorgeous. The pink of the flowers looks lovely against the blue background. I fell in love with these stamps the moment I saw them. I ordered them friday and they arrived yesterday, so hopefully I will have time to play with them over the long weekend.

The background large 'ghost' gears are a terrific foil for the stamped images & I love your use of the Bronze & browns rather than black - don't they just glow? The dimension & texture is a delight & I love the gradation of colour on those flower petals. You matting picks up & enhances the colours perfectly.

Beautiful bleeding of colors, and fabulous blends where they meet. I love the way you have utilized the stamp images. Your rich embossing, delicate fussy cutting, and amazing arrangement - what an artist! Amazing card, Miss Shirley! love, de

I just love taking the journey that your blog provides, Shirley in Wonderland!! Those stamps are something else. Your card art is incredible, as usual!! Some of those elements look like exotic silk fabrics and embroidery to me. I'm just in awe.

Die Karte ist wirklich ganz zauberhaft. Die rosa Blüten und die Steampunk Kreise sind ein toller Kontrast zu dem blau türkisen Hintergrund.
