Punky Lightbulb Flowers

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.  And again I would welcome more new followers, thank you for your interest & visits, it's appreciated :)

I have another design using the gorgeous & fun Punky Flowers set by Chocolate Baroque.  This light bulb flower is so much fun !

I used a piece of designer paper from my stash, added a little Distress Ink and distressed the edges for the background.  I stamped the cog fragment from the Steampunk Butterfly set with Walnut Distress Ink.  I coloured the light bulb flowers with Prisma Pencils and sprayed a little Sunshine Glimmermist around them.  I added a little shadow that does not show in the photo.     I reversed the colours to add to the quirky design.   The mini cogs are by Ranger.   I added some copper wire as the 'ribbon'.

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day !

I love these quirky flowers, and the card you've made with them is gorgeous. They look great against the cogs on the background, and the wire around the middle makes a great embellishment.

Hope you're having a good week.

These are a little bit different Shirley and can see lots of options with them. Super colours as well.

That's a super glow around the bulbs & your reversal of the pink & green is great fun. The Walnut Stain stamping upon the green background is lovely & I like the way your use of copper helps to bring out the warmth & glow of the whole design (that may of course be your shadow which I believe I can just glimpse plus the Glimmermist).

Hi, Shirley, I can just imagine how much fun you have using the Chocolate Baroque stamps, creating your trademark fabulous backgrounds for them, and then finding the images in unique settings. This image is so YOU - flowers shedding light for all around them - just like your artwork - uniquely bright colors which shed the light of your dear heart. I especially like the strands of wire coming across like a ribbon, and then "fraying" to create the visual interest - wonderful card, Shirley! hugs, de

Der Steampunk-Hintergrund harmoniert wunderbar mit den Punky-Blumen. Ich finde, das ist eine sehr schöne Karte für einen Mann!
