Imagine

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well!    I would like to welcome my new followers, I appreciate everyone's interest and visits.

I have a design today again using Chocolate Baroque's newest release-  the gorgeous Punky Flowers set which are on special for the month of May.

I visualised the cog trees as a Delphinium type plant and wanted to create a field of cog plants along with a cog sun in a fantasy design.   I created the background with Distress Inks, sponge blender, ripped card stock & a mask created with a circle shape cutter.   I used the TCW Mini Gears stencil to create the image in the sun.   The main cog plants were embossed with a metallic embossing powder and the rest stamped with Distress Inks.  I added some little brads at the top.   Imagine is from the Artistic Expression set.

Thanks for your visit and have a great day!
Shirley

Beautiful background and such a fun idea to use the cogs in this way! Think it looks a little bit like the art from the Constructivisme... Have an inspirational day! Hugs, Gerrina

A remarkable effect of clouds scudding across the face of the sun & glowing behind mountainous scenery with Delphiniums in the foreground - like a Sci-Fi planet yet so utterly real. "Imagine" fits beautifully. I love your brads & the whole combination of colours. You've just made me think of Delphiniums, tangles & hands..........hmm - shall have to ponder that one.

Woooo hoooo! Being a Shirley groupie, I was in need of a Shirley card! Wow! LOVE this funky punky garden, especially in these warm, cheery colors and fabulous embossing powder! Your trademark colorful background is beyond expectations! LOVE that stenciled gear, and the pretty shades of yellow, gold and slight green in the background, instead of the traditional sun and clouds. Actually the clouds look like the mist which rises from the pasture. I love looking out the front window when this happens. our home is on a hill. Looking down through the pasture, the dew rises as mist in the morning there are ribbons of it layering the sky - and glistening like diamonds! Beautiful card, Miss Shirley! hugs, de
