Indian Designs with Zingy colours

Hello everyone !  I hope you enjoyed the long weekend.

Chocolate Baroque has launched two new fabulous rubber stamp sets this month -  Indian Textiles and Indian Elephant.   We're having so much fun creating with these gorgeous designs that inspire the use of vibrant colours & lots of bling!

Today I'm showing two cards that feature the Peacock image.

I created the background with Orange Dylusions ink and also blended Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink over a TCW Mini Solace Stencil.    The background images are from Indian Elephant which are stamped with black Stazon Ink.  I bleached the colour from the images & painted with my Tombow markers using a brush & water.  I also highlighted with a white Gellyroll pen.

I painted the Peacock from Indian Textiles with my Tombow markers, cut him out and attached as shown.    I used Spellbinder Majestic Elements S4-383 for the die cuts.    I added glitter, rhinestones & liquid pearls for accents.

This second design while still vibrant is more subdued in colour.

I used Peacock Feathers (Turquoise) Distress Ink with an Acrylic block for the background.   I stamped the decorative textile image from Indian Textiles and a flower from Indian Elephant with black ink.  I coloured the flowers with my Prisma pencils and painted the peacock with Tombow markers.  I used gold UTEE around the edge.  Next, lots of bling & feathers are added!

Here is a look at the two rubber A5 stamp sets that give you so many possibilities and are on an introductory offer for the month of April.

Two super examples using these new sets Shirley, I especially love the use of feather in the second. Mt stamps arrived Saturday so itching to have a play - I had a perfect excuse to but them as my little granddaughter loves elephants.

When I imagine India, I image lovely bright colours, and these two stunning cards are full of bright colour. I love the orange zing of the first card, but equally I love the blue and purple of the second with all it's bling. My stamps are all cut out ready to go, just need to find the time to get stamping now.

Hope you had a wonderful Easter.

Gorgeous work Shirley! I do like the Indian textiles stamps the most. I have been Uming and Arring about them. I had originally thought the flower were another block style image and had dismissed it. After seeing your first card you have changed my mind. Looooove those colours you have used. I am blaming you entirely for my purchase!!! LOL!
Hugs, Florence xx

Deliciously stunning & I love your use of white with the first one. I particularly like the way your CWT design is mirrored in the shapes of the peacock's feathers & the selective use of the aqua enhances amazingly.
Your stunning use of the feathers in the second one catches the attention & I love the way the flowers behind in the background pattern mimic the feathers in both shape & colour.
Your matting in both projects really brings out the colours of each card beautifully.
Quite sumptuous.

Shirley, these are magnificent creations - true masterpieces of imagery and color - just gorgeous - they also remind me a little of the 60s and early 70s with the Eastern influences. Chocolate Baroque has outdone themselves with these images. I can just imagine your delight whenever a new package arrives from them. The feathers on your peacock combined with the gold EP look beautiful! thanks for always bringing vivacious colors to my eyes. hugs, de

Oh! WOW! Each card was so breathtaking, I am at a loss for some superlative comments! The orange one really made me think "Indian marketplace" with the hustle & bustle I see when I watch a tv show in that setting (recently watched the Marigold Hotel with Judi Dench). Then when I saw the blue, I think "Taj Mahal in the moonlight". Each card was stunning, yet invoked such a different mood with the colors you used. These stamps are beyond gorgeous. You certainly showcased them in 2 magnificent cards! TFS such marvelous art.
