A Magical Tree & Indian Elephant

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I have two more designs today using Chocolate Baroque's new stamp set - Indian Elephant.     The new Indian theme designs are gorgeous and so much fun to create with.

In this first design I used the 'magical' flower tree along with a leaf from the Tangled Garden set.

I coloured the main image & leaves with Prisma Pencils and added glitter, rhinestones & a large 'gem'.   I edged the mats with a gold leaf pen.

Cuttle Bug Embossing Folder - Acanthus

And on this next card below I used the Elephant from the Indian Elephant set.

The background is the beautiful design from Chocolate Baroque's printable download - Leafy Brocade.      Using the colours of the background as my guide I coloured the image with Prisma Pencils.  I blended a little Distress Ink around the parameter matching the green in the corner of the printed paper.    Again I added glitter, rhinestones & a large 'gem' charm.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your visits.
Have a great day!

The way you added the green sponging around the edge of the elephant panel just draws out the green in the background paper beautifully PLUS the aqua in the elephants saddle cloth. With your lovely gem hanging like that I can just imagine a whole series of just those gems hanging along the edge of the saddle cloth too. A really super idea.
As for your first - the gold leaf edging just brings real decadence to the whole & picks up the golden mount of the jewel. The colours are beautiful & very atmospheric & I absolutely love the way you decoupaged the little flower.

What a great, almost classical elegant first card! The background and stamp combination from the second reminds me of a beautiful tapestery I've seen years ago. Warm greetings, Gerrina

Gosh, Shirley, I have been here (on your blog) a long time just looking and looking. LOL Such pretty colors, shapes, combination of elements - very colorful, "Indian", and quite eye-catching shapes. Thank you for introducing me to Labels 20. It is now on my wish list. Maybe they will make it into Grands as well. Beautifully layered with the gold leafing, and dimensional flower and leaves. BRILLIANT card in every way.

I like your elephant card, too and am wondering if those dots come out easily with the SB die. Love the green shading in the white areas, and how some of it is darker in places to give more artistic dimension. Just beautiful cards, Shirley, very inspiring. Thank you for taking so many photos, too. hugs, de
