Seahorse Friends

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great week.

I have a card today created for Designs by Ryn.    I used Ryn's cool Seahorse Set in a clean & simple design.

I masked off an area with scrap cardstock and blended Peacock Feathers & Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.  Using the mini Circle Explosion Stencil from TCW I added the dots with Picked Raspberry & Peacock Feathers DI.

The Seahorse (all three are in the set) were stamped on watercolour paper with black Stazon Ink & coloured with my Tombow markers.   I added a little glitter as well.   The sentiment is by Impression Obsession  B13027.

If you get a chance please stop by my teammate's - Miranda's, Eileen's & our new member Wendy's Blogs and Ryn's Facebook page for inspiration :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

Perfect design! Love the colours. And the quote and seahorsestamp are beautiful in those colours! Warm greetings, Gerrina (It is white here again, after one day almost no snow on the roads; winter won´t let go this year...)

Very effective masking Shirley, have to say I'm never thought about anything but symmetrical so food for thought here. And of course I love the colours, it's what really draws me to your work.

I had my delivery from Chocolate Baroque and now have all the colours I need to get spritzing.

This is gorgeous Shirley, I love the seahorses, and it's great that Ryn has thought to do a mirror image one as well. Think these will have to go on my wish list (I have an order on it's way to me now). I also love your design, it's unusual for you to have so much white space left over.

I love the colours here Shirley & the sinuos curvature of your sponged area echoing the seahorse's shape. The effect of your shading is delightful bringing a sense of the light shining through the water & onto that far right seahorse's head & front. The classy black & white is a perfect foil for the brilliant colours.

I LOVE this layout!! That sweep of color on the background is the perfect shape for a seahorse. Wow, you colored with Tombo markers, your blending is sooo good. I don't blend that well with anything except colored pencils.

The knee is finally showing some improvement and I feel much better just the last two weeks. I'll be on antibiotics for 6 more months [big sigh]. But hey, if it keeps this knee joint in place that will be great:)
