I have two cards today created using stamps by Chocolate Baroque and again using images from the Spring is in the Air set. I love the delicate flowers of these Snowdrops which are normally white.
I used my Prisma Pencils to colour the two snowdrop images which were stamped on Kraft Paper. The background is designer paper with very little design which I over stamped with a fragment from the Textured Fragment set using Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. I blended a little of the same ink around the outside edges. The die cut is from Spellbinder S5-090.
The is next card below features one of Snowdrop images from the Spring is in the Air set.
I used similar background paper and over stamped it with another fragment from the Textured Fragment set with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink. The die cut is from Nellie's Multiframe MFD006. The sentiment is from Bold Blooms.
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day,
Shirley

Awww ... these are just so lovely Shirley xxx
These are beautiful Shirley, flowers came in all sorts of colours so why not snowdrops too. I noticed that they are out along the edges of the roads here, a sure sign that spring can't be far away.

I love these colours together - God knew what he was doing when he painted the flowers. I love the way the background stamping in the first one is picked up by the decorative border on your green die-cut. As I looked I could see the oval eyelets in the same border slipping slightly so as to make their 'pointy' ends go downwards & making more snowdrop shapes in my mind. Just delectable eye candy. I love that deep green used for the sentiment in the second one & seeing the way you varied the order of the matting but using the same colours for the two cards is instructive indeed.

PS - forgot to say how much I'm learning from your use of ribbon in the designs.
Much appreciated & much food for thought - thank you.

Don't know if there are yellow snowdrops, but they are beautifully... The backgrounds got just enough warmth the way you made them. Great cards! Warm greetings, Gerrina
How beautiful! I am especially partial to fantasy flowers - you know, the ones that are never the "right" natural color, but look so gorgeous done in fantasy colors? Beautiful card. Speaking of beautiful cards, and fantasy colors, the most amazing card arrived in the mail today! THANK YOU, Shirley, for the gorgeous butterfly card. The colors couldn't be any richer - wow. I want to use it as an inspiration piece and show both on my blog. Is that ok? hugs, de
Your cards are amazing. It is easy to see that you put a lot of love into making each one. My favorite (from the ones that I've looked at) is Feb 10 Fantasy Trees, it is so pretty. The one you made for Valentine's is fabulous, too :)

So very pretty ! I love the yellow, in both the flowers and the background.
Another beauty, Shirley! I am bookmarking this one to remind me how pretty Prisma colors look on Kraft card stock. I'm not sure about your title though, hon. Yellow snowdrops ... my head was thinking something completely different! LOL!
