A Moth named Luna

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend.

I have another card design using stamps by Designs by Ryn.  This Moth, Luna, is another beauty from her Moth collection

,

I blended Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn & Picked Raspberry Distress Inks over watercolour paper & flicked water over it to create the water marks.   I over stamped Leafy Branch with Mowed Lawn DI & added a little white with a Neocolour Crayon.  I stamped Luna the Moth with black Stazon Ink, coloured with my Tombow markers & highlighted a little with a white Gelly Roll pen.

Happy Birthday is from Chocolate Baroque's Birthday Words set.

If you get a chance please stop by my teammate's - Miranda's and Eileen's Blogs.   Also Ryn's Facebook page is updated regularly with creations using her stamps.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

I love the way your sprinkling of gems in the bottom left echoes the watermarks of the Picked Raspberry area top right - terrific! The white Neocolor touches are superbly effective too on those leaves & I like the way the script of your sentiment (swirls is also echoed by those leaves. The texture you achieved on that moth is incredible - I can almost stroke it & feel the the little feathery velvetness. A really lovely treat to see.

Shirley, this is wonderful! The luna moth is gorgeous. I will never forget when I found one in Las Vegas of all places. It was back in 1961, so Vegas was a lot different back then LOL. I especially like your moth because you have colored the two sides differently - same techniques, but different colors. The branch in the background looks AMAZING. So pretty, Shirley, with all the colors. Is your stamping studio very colorful? hugs, de

This is stunning Shirley, a gorgeous background as always, in lovely summery colours. The moth is beautiful and looks as though it has just landed on the page.
