I'm brave to share this Art Journal page. My intention for the page was to look 'funky' but it could be mistaken for one of my drawings when I was 5 years old :)
I was happy as a child while spraying inks, using molding paste for 'brick's', acrylic paint for the clouds, Viva Inka Gold for the 'shingles' and drawing with a Pen & crayons ! Well they are Watercolor Neocolor Crayons, so not the children's type. I used several stencils as well.
The 'Happy & Joy" expressions are stamped with Black Stazon ink & are from Chocolate Baroque's - Artistic Expressions Set.
I showed this page to my husband and he asked - "what's it for?" My answer - "for me, I was just having fun".
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend !

Hi Shirley, sometimes it's so good to only have fun without expecting a certain result......we don't do that often mmm? I like your page and the I can see the pleasure in it! You did use a lot of mediums and that's nice!
I've got a nice stamp with a quote that say: “We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing!”
So you did!
big hug and warm greet Mirandaxx
A great page SHirley...it really looks as if you had great fun,...hihi and a hubbie doen't always understand his wife :-)

Hi Shirley!
What a lot of materials and styles did you use! I love it!
And your little "discusion" with your husband made me laugh, here it is the same, sometimes...But I DO understand you: it is for the joy and fun that we make our little things, isn't it?!
Warm greetings, ALix
It doesn't surprise me to hear that you have been happily designing and getting inky since you were five years old! It's wonderful that you still carry that love of creating in your heart and keep in touch with your inner five-year-old. (She's a hoot and quite the artist!)
I'll be by around 5 p.m. for a couple Screwballs with sugar! LOL!
It looks like fun too!! That's the most important thing, having fun while you are crafting!! And I love all the colors!!
Thanks for your comment on my blog!
Many greetings, Yvonne
