Garden Art Journal Page

Good morning !  I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.  I had a great day yesterday teaching at Crop Circles.   Helen, the owner, has a wonderful group of loyal & creative ladies that come out for the fun.   Each participant created 6 cards, we enjoyed a delicious lunch & I came home tired & happy !    I also purchased some new fabulous 'goodies', including beautiful new Christmas stamps by Penny Black.

I'm sharing my second Art Journal page today.  It's so much fun to 'play' & create and it's nice that I keep this work for me.   This page 'feels' like my garden where I can go to Dream and look at the Beauty of the flowers & texture of plants.   I included one of Ryn's Moth's which you can find here at Designs by Ryn

I used Dylusions Inks, Distress Inks, white Acrylic Paint, Templates and Rubber Stamps to create this page.   I also highlighted a little with a white Neocolor crayon.

Stamps:
Designs by Ryn - Tsuki (Moth) CM-B5
Hero Art - S5154 Three Ferns (embossed with gold)
Rubber Stamped - A1102E Fern (hard to see with ink blended over)
Chocolate Baroque - Artistic Expressions (Dream, Imagine, Beauty)

Templates:
Crafters Workshop - TCW226s mini Leaf Frame & TCW278s Circle Explosion
'Stencil It' book - 'trellis' & butterfly

That's all for now, thanks for your visit and have a great day !
Shirley

Hey Shirley, it's great to see you having fun with your journal pages. This one definitely reminds me of a garden with all of the layers and textures that you used. I was in my grandfather's garden today pulling out a forest of weeds.
Glad to hear that your class went well. Wow, six cards each sounds like a lot! No wonder you were so busy with prep work.
As always, it's a delight to see what you're up to :)

Hi Shirley! A bit of a late reaction because of my silly browser!
This journal page has beautiful colours, which are my favourites!
You have designed a very beautiful background for this page, and you finished it with the nice stamps! Beautiful!

I seem to be on catch up here Shirley - sorry! Lots on over the last few weeks and I'm just not doing what I love which is visiting people on their blogs.
Your background here is totally beautiful and has such depth of both colour and images. Adding the gorgeous butterfly finishes it all beautifully. Wonderful.
